Restoration Process:
When I restore I take EVERY precaution to protect the pieces being restored. Metals are cleaned with a metal polish, corrosion/ rust is removed with care. At times minor repairs can be made and are listed in description/condition.
Plastics are cleaned, then a plastic polish is used to gently bring back luster and remove minor scratches. At times celluloid pieces are protected with an anti-crazing cream used for collectible/antique dolls. Sometimes pieces will have corrosion, scratches, damage and some discoloration and cannot be brought to “perfect” condition. ALL FLAWS will be disclosed.
